JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview

As a Counterparty Onboarding Analyst with Susquehanna, you will be joining a growing team that partners with stakeholders throughout the firm to ensure our counterparties and vendors are onboarded in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies and procedures.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as one of the key members of our team that will directly communicate with counterparties and vendors during the onboarding process.
  • Perform due diligence on various types of counterparties and vendors Susquehanna faces to help manage/mitigate risk
  • Conduct payment instruction vetting on outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in U.S. Dollars and/or foreign currency and EFTs with a high degree of accuracy and within established deadlines.
  • Escalate issues according to procedures while owning the resolution, and keeping management informed on progress
  • Maintain counterparty metadata in a proprietary database and other third-party systems
  • Gain exposure to the markets and other areas of the business
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

What we're looking for
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a financial institution with prior experience, knowledge, and understanding of SWIFT (experience with International Wires, Intermediate Banks/Correspondent Banks is a plus).
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to shifting priorities
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate issues into actionable items and recommendations
  • Experience with Fenergo is a plus
  • Sound judgement, professionalism, and discretion
  • Self-motivated and ability to work on your own initiatives is critical for this role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be diligent and meticulous with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
