The Role: Accounting Specialist (Record-to-Report)

The Team: Be part of a global record to report team and collaborate with domestic and international retained staff, Treasury, Intercompany; AP & OTC teams, and all global business units focusing on achieving team/company objectives.

The Impact: The position will perform the revenue and AR reconciliations and Deferred Revenue reconciliations. The individual will also be helping all the OTC reporting (both legacy and the new Oracle AR reporting) and the reconciliation processes. The position will be an anchor for our recent migration reconciliations and legacy clean up, acquisitions and divestiture activities and support colleagues from the team during the crunch time.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Order to Cash teams and business units in coordinating the revenue system close, lockbox and credit card/receipt cash application issue resolution

  • Perform the reconciliations and journal entries for the financial close

  • Perform balance sheet analysis related to the deferred revenue and AR accounts

  • Perform Salesforce CPQ/SAP vs Oracle reporting tool - reconciliations

  • Work with external auditors for any ad-hoc requests

  • Update operational policies and procedures as per the changes specific to process

  • Support any Project and divestiture related request.

  • Resolve the revenue accounting reconciliations items, clean-up legacy related items and provide ad-hoc support for any revenue audit requests as required by manager

  • Perform backfill and support to other accountants in the team

What Were Looking For:

  • 3-4 years of experience in financial reconciliations and analyses in multinational corporate environment

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud or any other ERP system, Salesforce - CPQ and SAP

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word)

  • Very good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • This person will be working EMEA/US shift, Hybrid setup.
