Job Summary

The Concur Expense & Card Program Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and governance of SAP Concur Expense and the corporate card program. This role ensures accurate expense processing, policy compliance, system stability, and user support while partnering with Finance, AP, IT, Audit, and external vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Concur Expense Administration

  • Administer and support SAP Concur Expense platform including configuration, workflows, policies, and approvals

  • Maintain expense types, audit rules, allocations, and integration with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Resolve system-related issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported defects

  • Manage periodic system updates, testing, and release impacts

Corporate Card Program Management

  • Administer end-to-end corporate card programs (issuance, closures, limit changes, MCC controls)

  • Act as primary liaison with card issuers (e.g., Amex, Visa, Mastercard banks)

  • Monitor card transactions, late submissions, delinquencies, and policy exceptions

  • Drive card adoption, compliance, and spend visibility initiatives

Expense Processing & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company T&E policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements

  • Perform transaction reviews, exception analysis, and post-audit activities

  • Support month-end close related to expenses, accruals, and reconciliations

  • Partner with Internal Audit and External Auditors during audits

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for expense spend, card utilization, and compliance metrics

  • Analyze spend trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

  • Present insights to Finance leadership and business stakeholders

User Support & Training

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for Concur and card-related queries

  • Conduct user training sessions, create SOPs, job aids, and FAQs

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Concur and card policies

Process Improvement & Projects

  • Lead or participate in Concur implementations, migrations, and enhancements

  • Partner with IT and Finance Transformation teams on automation and standardization

  • Support global rollouts, policy changes, and integration projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • 58 years of experience in SAP Concur Expense administration and corporate card management

  • Strong understanding of Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and controls

  • Experience working in a shared services or global finance environment

  • Knowledge of SOX controls and audit requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Concur certifications (Expense / Travel / Admin)

  • Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.)

  • Exposure to global card programs and multi-country expense policies

  • Experience supporting finance transformation or system optimization initiatives
