Responsibilities

Understanding complex project requirements and acquire knowledge on functionality in short period of time.

Write technical specs and proof-read the technical documentation made by the team members

Develop the solutions according to the technical specification by respecting the quality recommendations.

Assist technical leader for design and estimate of the solution

Perform code review, unit test and integration test audit.

Implement the technical solution over different environments.

Work in Agile development underlying CI&CD principles

Connect with business partners on critical incidents, requests and provide technical solutions.

Help the PO and the team in decomposing requirements into MVP then into user stories

Predict functional dependencies between teams working on the same platform

Understand technical constraints and participate to the product design

Development Experience

Require more than 8 years related experience in COBOL Technology in Mainframe Environment Strong Experience in JCL, CICS, DB2

Experience in tools like Endeavour

Should have work experience in Agile model Ability to code independently

Experience in DevOps would be an added advantage

Experience in Topaz or any other similar IDEs would be an added advantage.

Should have worked in Development, maintenance and enhancement projects

Should be process oriented, with a clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and s/w configuration processes

Should have good communication and interpersonal skills

Should have good customer handling experience

Experience on Trade Finance domain would be added bonus
