Who are we? 
Customer Capabilities is a diverse tribe of 100+ colleagues working in 11 crossfunctional teams across Denmark, Lithuania, and India. Together, we build robust endtoend solutions that power critical banking services for millions of customers and colleagues at Danske Bank - covering core domains such as Fees, Interest, Tax Reporting, and Customer Communication.

Youll join our mainframe team, which consists of 4 developers, 2 business analysts and a product owner. We work across Denmark, Lithuania and India and we collaborate closely day-to-day.

We calculate all fees across Danske Bank. While working on migrating to a cloud-based system, we expect our legacy system to still run for many years. Youll help keep critical banking services running.

We dont expect you to know everything what matters is curiosity, and well support your learning.

Our work consists of:

• Maintain and enhance core fee calculation services on mainframe
• Investigate incidents/root cause, improve stability and performance
• Collaborate with PO/BFSs to translate fee rules into working solutions
• Improve automated testing, documentation, and operational runbooks
• We work in an agile environment using Jira and Confluence.

What were looking for?

• An educational background within computer science or similar areas.
• A strong background as a backend developer, with proven history of developing large-scale enterprise solutions, with at least 5 years of professional working experience.
• Quick to learn unfamiliar technologies, where you feel working in new environments will be positive for your career.
• Any knowledge of the above-mentioned technologies is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset, with a focus on prioritising team success.

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
