Key Responsibilities:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Master proficiency in IBM MainFrame COBOL is required.
Advanced proficiency in DBeaver, Broadcom CA Endevor SCM, and Restructured Extended Executor (REXX) is suggested.
Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement robust software components that meet project requirements.
Support and guide colleagues by sharing expertise and contributing to problem-solving discussions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of software solutions.
Analyze complex challenges and propose innovative approaches to improve system performance and reliability.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and quality standards.
