We are looking for a student to join the Fundamental Equities team within Nordea Asset Management.

In this role, you will support the team across client materials, portfolio analysis, and workflow improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on how AI and smarter tools can improve the way we work. This is an opportunity to work closely with investment professionals in a fast-paced international environment and contribute to both day-to-day execution and ongoing process improvement.

About the team Fundamental Equities is the largest and fastest-growing equity boutique in Nordea Asset Management, managing high-conviction sustainable equity portfolios across Global, North America, Europe, and Emerging Markets.

Our team consists of 33 investment professionals based in Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, and Singapore, serving clients across the Nordics, Continental Europe, the US, and Asia.

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best and that we imagine you share with us.

The role

You will work closely with the two Senior Portfolio Specialists to prepare high-quality client materials, support performance analysis, and deliver stock-specific commentary across equity portfolios. You will also handle ad hoc portfolio-related requests and contribute to improving workflows through AI and smarter tools.

This is a student position based in Copenhagen, with expected working hours of 20 hours per week.

Who you are

You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and you bring a curious, structured, and detail-oriented approach to your work. You are comfortable working independently, take ownership of your tasks, and deliver high-quality output across both qualitative and quantitative work. You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and you already use AI tools in a practical way to improve efficiency and output. Experience with Python and SQL will be highly valued, and strong written and spoken English skills are required.

What we offer

People come here when they want to get somewhere. For some, its to take their career to the next level. For others, its to break new ground within their area of expertise in other words, with us, you will always move forward.

A culture that fosters performance and growth in one of the largest Nordic banks, offering various opportunities to evolve, develop and learn from brilliant colleagues with diverse backgrounds in a vibrant working environment.
