Full Job Description
Join Mizuho as a Corporate Access Associate. This role will work closely with the Head of Corporate Access in a fast paced, detail-oriented manner. This associate position will take ownership of origination and execution in the energy sector. This person should rise to the occasion by building corporate relationships to originate events and think strategically to make the events as successful as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Energy Sector lead on the Mizuho Corporate Access team.
- Gain sector fluency and strategize around corporate investor targeting priorities.
- Develop investor targeting materials, including ownership gap analysis and regional investor profiles, to help support marketing pitches to companies.
- Manage external relationships with company management and investor relations to originate corporate access events.
- Work closely with counterparts in research to create robust marketing strategies and multiple touchpoints with corporate clients.
- Execute events and manage logistics for non-deal roadshows, virtual events, conferences, seminars, investors tours.
- Create and maintain marketing itineraries and post marketing feedback for NDRs.
- Work across institutional equity sales, research, banking, and investor relations teams
Requirements:
- Proven attention to detail
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Equities
- Experience working with Energy and Utilities corporates and investors.
- Understanding of the equity landscape; analysts, institutional clients, corporate clients
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Solutions oriented approach
- Writing samples and PowerPoint examples will be required
The expected base salary ranges from $150,000- $200,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
