Join Macquaries Risk Committees Governance team in the Risk Management Group Transformation and Operations division. This team drives the effective operation of committees, providing structured secretariat and governance support for Risk Management Groups key risk committees, including Macquaries Executive Risk Committees, with key stakeholders across Macquarie and its Non-Financial Risk Divisions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support the design and day-to-day operation of key risk committees, including those focussed on board and management level risk reporting. You will provide structured secretariat support, preparing agendas, reviewing papers, coordinating submissions with senior stakeholders and documenting clear and accurate meeting outcomes, while contributing to the continued effectiveness of the Risk Management Groups Non-Financial Risk committee environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Macquarie, you will help ensure committee governance is effective and materials are clear, insightful and fit-for-purpose.

  • Experience in a company secretariat, legal or governance role within risk or compliance environments would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Proven ability to build relationships and engage with a high volume of senior stakeholders across different disciplines
  • Confidence working in evolving environments, with the ability to manage priorities and follow through on deliverables consistently
  • Demonstrated capability in committee management, including preparing agendas, minutes, and board or management level reporting
  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and detail-focused approach to delivery
