TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR is building out an enterprise data group to collect, manage, and harness the power of data across our diverse portfolio investments. Reporting into the Global Markets Operations team, this group will help ensure all KKR data is accessible, consumable, and drive the curation of insights across the organization.
As one of the most established and mature branches within Global Data Ops, Investment Data Operations (IDO) is responsible for investment reference data across all investment strategies. Our data is consumed by Portfolio managers, Compliance, Finance, Client reporting and relied on to make real time business decisions.
POSITION SUMMARY
Investment Data Ops is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its growing data operations group under the Global Markets Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in investment operations at a reputable buy side firm. The role is based in Gurugram and reports to the head of Investment Data Operations at KKR.
The ideal candidate will have a minimal of 3 years of data operations experience at a financial institution or fund administrator. The role is critical to the success of KKRs around the globe data support and requires someone who is reliable, risk oriented with strong critical thinking capabilities. The role requires constant communication with different business groups, so strong communication and relationship building skills is highly desired.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily asset set up for both public and private market. Identify exceptions, research and resolve issues independently.
Assist internal client to set up and build data recon on KKRs enterprise reconciliation platform (Duco)/Sigma
Perform end-of-day pricing process. Perform all quality control tasks and resolve exceptions independently.
Perform various ad hoc data analysis via SQL queries and present logical findings.
Design and document standard operating procedures
Process Automation: Identify and proactively implement opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of data operation experience in financial services.
Proficient in SQL, with good knowledge and ability to write SQL queries.
Able to handle unstructured data effectively and efficiently.
Possess excellent communication skill both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information and interact with others.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships and collaborating with team and stakeholders.
Ability to contribute to operational process design.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Security master and pricing experience at a peer firm
Has worked with credit instruments. Understands private and public term loans and the bond market.
Driven and ready take on new challenges, has experience in leading projects big or small.
Familiarity with the working schedule of a US based firm, willingness to occasional evening calls to stay connected with our global colleagues.
Working experience in any of the following systems and applications: Snowflake, Duco, Geneva, Jira, MiK, Data Explorer, Collibra, Bloomberg
