The Office Support Technician provides first-line endpoint support and daily troubleshooting for end users across Windows, macOS, and virtual desktop environments. The role also assists with office management tasks such as ordering and receiving equipment, organizing safe disposal, maintaining storerooms, updating floor plans, and coordinating office and desk moves. This is a 6-month onsite contract (Monday–Friday) with occasional weekend and out-of-hours support for upgrades and user issues. The technician will liaise with landlords, contractors, and global staff as part of Jump's global support organization and perform other duties as assigned.

As an Office Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing 1st line endpoint support for end users and Staff with daily troubleshooting and maintenance. You will also assist with office management responsibilities and act as a local member of Jump’s global support organisation.
 
This is a 6-month contract position expected to be onsite Monday-Friday.
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Level 1 technical support for a rapidly growing office of a leading global trading firm
  • Ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows and MacOS clients and supporting a Virtual Desktop environment
  • A strong communicator in English who can work effectively with landlords, contractors and company staff across offices around the world
  • Occasional weekend and early/late night support for upgrades and user issues
  • Diagnose equipment, organize for safe disposal of equipment, order and take delivery of office equipment and office supplies.
  • Carry out stock takes, maintain an orderly storeroom and workplace environment, update floor plan diagrams, carry out / coordinate office and desk moves.
  • Assist in office facilities responsibilities supported by global team.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills You’ll Need:
  • At least 1 year of experience from within an IT helpdesk environment required.
  • Passion for technology.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of network principles and ability to troubleshoot basic network issues.
  • Prior experience with Windows 11, MacOS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting users in virtual desktop environments is a plus.
  • Strong IT troubleshooting techniques.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative. Strong work ethic.
  • Well-organized, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Team player and desire to roll up your sleeves to assist where needed.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.
