Morgan research. **Qualifications:** 1. **Education:** Bachelor's degree (4 year college degree). 2. **Math Skills:** Strong proficiency in mathematics. 3. **Technical Skills:** Proficient in MS Excel. 4. **Personal Attributes:** Self-starter with a genuine passion for financial markets, strong communication skills, proactive, detail-oriented, curious, excellent time management abilities. 5. **Experience:** Prior experience in a similar role or within the financial services industry is a plus but not required.

Our Convertible Bond Sales team is seeking a motivated and ambitious Analyst for a Sales assistant role in the New York office. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the sales team coordinating with internal stakeholders in operations, and KYC, banking and compliance
- Collaborate with trading, research, syndicate, and other functions to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to the sales team.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into becoming a client facing salesperson after a few years.
Job responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that back end operational tasks are completed. This includes monitoring and resolving trade breaks/settlement issues, assisting clients in accessing JPM research and onboarding new accounts.
- Learn JPM Convert accounts and strategies to understand market participants and various trading styles.
- Self-starter who will generate trade ideas & market commentary to distinguish yourself and to assist sales in identifying opportunities for clients and the desk.
- Write a daily recap on market activity and valuation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 4 year college degree.
- Strong Math Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Self-starter with genuine passion for financial markets
- Very strong communication skills.
- Proactive, team player, detail-oriented, curiosity are musts.
