As an Equity Derivatives & Quantitative Investment Strategies Sales Analyst in our front office team, you will help maintain and build client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. You will collaborate with trading and research teams to execute trades and provide market insights. Together, we drive our business forward and ensure client satisfaction in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day client requests and needs
  • Complete transactions independently and effectively from start to finish
  • Understand market drivers and demonstrate competence with clients around executing trades
  • Follow risk management policies and applicable legal and regulatory rules
  • Work on flow and exotic equity derivatives, as well as QIS investments across asset classes
  • Build trust with clients by understanding their needs and being responsive
  • Balance competing needs across clients, internal partners, and the firm
  • Assist with post-trade processes and ensure accuracy and internal controls
  • Conduct economic market research
  • Prepare presentation materials and participate in deal pitches
  • Perform financial valuation and analysis for product modeling

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or a relevant field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with market and product terminology; well-versed in quantitative investment strategies
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a drive for innovation
  • Understanding of different types of risk and risk management strategies
  • Ability to explain and anticipate market movements
  • Ability to thrive under competitive pressures and focus on client needs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/ or Cantonese

  • Experience with financial valuation and product modeling
  • Familiarity with post-trade processes and internal controls
