As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst, you will be part of the Client Instruction Capture and Settlements which involves trades processing, broker facing and fails management and trades support. You will be responsible in monitoring and management of trade capture, fails management and settlement activities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Process trades in accordance with the established work practices and procedures in CIC Trades
  • Monitoring and management of trade capture, fails management and settlement activities
  • Address settlement discrepancies/issues and leverage escalation channels promptly
  • Respond to queries relating to trade status and market practice 
  • Provide inputs to Operational management and control of the daily workflow within the Custody Team
  • Provide inputs in terms of maximizing team capacity, allocation and  resource planning 
  • Contribute to the strategic development of Custody products

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Minimum of at least 4 years in Financial Services industry, specifically custody & fund services, markets.
  • Possess understanding of Treasury v/s Agent (Off Book currency) FX’s
  • Strong Risk and Control Awareness: Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult situations internally and externally
  • Experience in Reconciliation, Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and Custody
  • Strategic thinker, ability to review and implement process improvements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Global Custody or Local Custody background
  • Experience in driving projects and initiatives
  • Familiarity with swift messages specifically MT54 series
  • Flexibility working on APAC and late APAC shift      (as early as 6am to 11am start of shift)

 

 

Preferred qualification, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Good knowledge in MS Office Suite applications - MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
  • Strong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
  • Confident communicator in all mediums with both internal and external clients
