Overview

As part of Trade Confirmations & Settlement Operations team, you will work to settle Equity & Bonds trades with Global clients for Deutsche Bank. You will also partner with internal teams to constantly reduce the financial & reputational risk to the Bank. You will also support your team to achieve efficiency targets and reduce non-value activities. You will act as first level contact with the client and will have to ensure that you reflect Deutsche Bank Values in your day-to-day behavior.

You should be willing to travel to India for training purpose for 1-2 months and get trained in US market hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage settlement Activities of the Debt Markets products in US markets (Federal Reserve systems, Depository Trust Clearing)

  • Ensuring that all activities and exceptions are handled as per the market deadline and Key Performance Indicators benchmark standards

  • Escalations are done appropriately, as required by the process

  • Liaising with Domestic Agents, Middle offices, Traders, Counterparties, US, Frankfurt, London

  • Ensure that all queries/first level escalations related to routine activities are responded to within the time frames pre-specified

  • To keep Team Manager informed of the exceptional occurrences, to enable appropriate action

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement for the role)

  • Working experience in investment bank – preferably in Fixed income

  • Should understand Debt Markets workflow

  • PC literate (Word, Excel – macro, Power point)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Time Management and Stress Management Skill

  • Assisting the team in decision making and taking and be the backup for the Team Manager

  • Analytical ability to analyze process for re-engineering opportunities

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
