You will ensure controls are properly designed and operating effectively, supporting a proactive risk and control culture. Your responsibilities include real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. You will assist in top-down risk analysis and partner with the business to ensure timely issue resolution. Your work will help maintain a disciplined end-to-end control environment.Job responsibilities:
Evaluate and perform end-to-end analysis of the businesss risk and control environment in partnership with stakeholdersIdentify significant gaps and weaknesses, determine root causes of control breaks, and escalate issues with urgencyEnsure controls are properly designed and operating effectively, supporting a proactive risk and control cultureLeverage proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocolsPerform ongoing analysis of program-related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports to support business programsAssist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentationParticipate in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business unitsSupport remediation efforts to address control issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with business partners to strengthen risk management practicesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the control environmentCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholdersRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or complianceSubject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function or operationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyCommitment to continuous learning and developmentExperience in risk and control analysis, issue escalation, and remediationAttention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information
