Your Team Responsibilities
The Client Service Senior Associate provides product support to clients and prospects. Through hands-on training and exposure to MSCIs Private Assets solutions, this individual will gain valuable product and investment knowledge, while building client relationship skills.
This role focuses on the Total Plan Manager product (formerly known as the Caissa Platform), which is the MSCI Private Assets investment analytics platform for institutions, with multi-asset class portfolios spanning private equity, hedge funds, public equity, and more. Clients leverage Total Plan Manager to calculate performance, quantify risk, monitor exposures, model future cashflows, and plan their asset allocation in addition to other critical portfolio management activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a premium level of service and rapid resolution of client questions and challenges.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of MSCI's Private Capital Solutions product suite and how our products fit into client organizations and their processes
- Share relevant product updates and thought leadership that enables clients to fully harness MSCIs Total Portfolio and Private Assets tools.
- Lead regular trainings and recurring meetings with key stakeholders, delivering transparent updates and recommending advanced features or solutions.
- Suggest and implement process enhancements that improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, channeling feedback to refine and evolve MSCIs Total Portfolio and Private Assets offerings.
- Contribute to service reviews and strategic service plans that reinforce value and drive client retention.
- Serve as mentor to junior team members, supporting their career growth and assisting with escalations
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Bachelors degree (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields is a plus, but not required)
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in client-facing roles within asset management, financial services, and/or fintech
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Portfolio analysis, performance measurement, private capital, or domain expertise in investment analytics is a plus
- Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Progress towards CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or FRM a plus
