Full Job Description
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
If you are passionate and have a strong desire to set and achieve challenging goals, you have found the right team. As an Associate in Credit Sales, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships across Taiwans institutional landscape (e.g., insurance companies, banks, securities firms, asset managers, and other local institutions), delivering credit solutions across primary and secondary markets.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage relationships with a designated portfolio of Taiwan-based institutional clients
- Act as the primary point of contact and manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including kyc/onboarding, marketing, pricing, execution, and post-trade workflow.
- Partner closely with trading, syndicate, structuring, and research teams to provide comprehensive credit product coverage and tailored solutions
- Demonstrate strong understanding of market drivers and deliver trade ideas and execution support across primary issuance and secondary trading
- Stay informed on macroeconomics, geopolitical and regulatory developments in Taiwan and global credit markets.
- Provide day-to-day coverage including pricing, market color, relative value, and liquidity across relevant credit markets
- Ensure adherence to the firms risk framework, conduct standards, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant market sales experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
- Strong understanding of fixed income products including but not limited to bonds, derivatives, financing, and structured products
- Proven track record of building and managing meaningful client relationships and generating consistent revenue
- Ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; absorb information quickly and accurately with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to develop and manage client relationships; Solid team player
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Strong ability to build trust with Taiwan institutional clients and internal stakeholders by demonstrating clear understanding of client needs and decision processes
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to proactively build and grow business
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to operate effectively in a multi-stakeholder, fast-moving trading floor environment
- Mandarin proficiency and familiarity with Taiwan institutional market conventions are advantageous
