ING Luxembourg is looking for an Account Manager Intern to join its Private Banking Department from July 2026 for a minimum duration of 6 months.

Please note that only candidates able to provide a valid school internship agreement will be considered.

Within the Private Banking team, you will support a team of Private Bankers in a high-end and demanding environment, providing administrative, regulatory, and client service support.

Your Mission:

The internship offers exposure to administrative, regulatory, and client service activities, allowing you to develop both technical and professional skills. You will be progressively involved in interactions with High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Discretion, professionalism, and clear communication are essential, and this role represents an excellent learning opportunity for students interested in wealth management.

You will act as a key interface between Private Bankers, the clients, and internal back-office teams, ensuring smooth coordination of services.

A significant part of the role is linked to regulatory follow-up and KYC-related activities, allowing you to build a solid understanding of compliance requirements in banking. At the same time, the internship requires a client-oriented and commercial mindset, with a strong willingness to learn.

Providing administrative and client service support to Private Bankers

Supporting the follow-up of regulatory and KYC requirements (documentation, client files, periodic reviews)

Supporting the follow-up of client onboarding processes, including monitoring documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and tracking progress until completion

Supporting interactions with UHNW clients with a high level of professionalism and discretion

Acting as a liaison between the front office, clients, and back-office teams

Assisting in the preparation, follow-up, and quality control of client documentation

Contributing to a high standard of service delivery within the Private Banking team

Your Profile:

Experience:

Currently pursuing university studies in economics, finance or equivalent

Strong interest in Private Banking and wealth management

Good understanding of, or interest in, regulatory and KYC frameworks

Competencies / Behavior:

Client-oriented mindset

Professional attitude, discretion, and attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Languages:

Fluent in English and French

Any other language (especially Dutch) will be considered an asset
