  • Functional Description:

HSBC Asset Management (AMG)s Product Group is responsible for the strategic and commercial development of AMG Product manufacturing capabilities including Development, Management, Governance, Support and Mandate delivery across all Global Markets.

  • Reports To: CEO, Asset Management Taiwan
  • People Responsibility: Y
  • Role Purpose:
    - Strategic Leadership: Directly lead and mentor the AMTW Wholesale Business team to define and execute the next phase of the entitys growth strategy.
    - Distribution Expansion: Accelerate market penetration by scaling coverage of external distributors to secure a high-volume, sustainable sales pipeline. Drive strategic collaboration with IWPB to maximize cross-divisional synergies and significantly increase Share of Wallet (SoW).
  • Job Contents>
    - Lead the wholesale team to define key strategies and achieve key financial KPIs
    - Build and strengthen relationships with both external and internal distributors to deliver key sales pipelines (ETF, Backend Load, DIA)
    - Develop and grow strategic, long-term relationships with Key Clients, including but not limited to Head of Wealth/ Trust, Wealth Product Head level to maximize AM Taiwans share of strategic business with Key Clients
    - Deliver effective sales and servicing quality to ensure high customer satisfaction level
    - Ensure close and effective working relationship across front-to-back functions to maintain high standard of service pledge to all key stakeholder
    - Represent AM Taiwan to attend regional wholesale business forums/ committees
    - Deliver clear HSBC Group and AM Taiwan strategy and goals to the team. Challenge and encourage the team to reach out the goals.
  • License/Qualification Requirement
    University degree or above
    Seasoned with proven track experts in channel management within the financial or asset management industry
    Strong capability leading a sales/ business development team in the financial industry
    In-depth understanding and keen interest on investment and mutual fund products
    Good communication and inter-personal skills
    Well-organized to prioritize effectively
    Attention to details
    Achieve sales targets effectively.
    Require strong knowledge in AM products and expertise.
    Require strong communication and presentation skills
    Average in English speaking and writing
