Full Job Description

HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their business performance. Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

People Responsibility: No

Reports To: SVP Custody Operations

  1. Monitor staffs output, timely and accurately approve settlement on foreign and local institutional customers onshore/offshore investments.
  2. Liaise with customers, customers trading counterparties, tax guarantors and regulators for trouble shooting and/or clarification of existing/new products.
  3. Timely and accurately complete daily tasks and regular / ad-hoc reports for internal / external customers.
  4. Provide feedback on staff performance to team members and managers.
  5. Propose changes according to observation during daily operations.

  1. Bachelors degree majored in Business related
  2. Excellent English spoken and written communication skills
  3. Strong and solid experience in Securities/Banking related area
  4. Independent, proactive and positive working attitude
  5. Good interpersonal skills with mature, pleasant personality
  6. Detail oriented and capable to work under pressure
  7. With a high-level customer service
  8. CNC product knowledge, FINI related regulations, PC skill, SWIFT messages for settlement
  9. GPAD covered worker
