As a Trade Settlements Analyst within the Prime Settlements team, you will be responsible for reviewing and resolving failing trades predominately for our Hedge fund clients in Europe. In this role, you will have regular collaboration with various internal lines of business, clients and brokers and work as part of a fast-paced operations team.
Job responsibilities
- Ensures trades are settled in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
- Manages proactively failing settlements to minimize risk and penalty charges
- Partners with brokers and internal teams to proactively problem solve failing trades
Builds trusting, credible broker, agent and client relationships through responsive, high quality client service
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- The ability to act and communicate with humility, empathy and kindness
- Highly motivated & pro-active
- Ability to develop relationships with clients, the business, brokers and a variety of other contacts across operations
- The ability to work with large data sets to pull trends and analyse findings to looks for process improvement opportunities
- Controls & Risk mindset, has awareness of compliance with relevant policies, controls, regulations and escalation protocols
Strong Verbal and Written communication
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with the trade lifecycle or the Prime Brokerage product
- A naturally curious thinker, with the ability to challenge existing processes
