Responsibilities: Assess and approve complex and high-value life claims within assigned authority limits. Handle sophisticated cases involving high-net-worth clients, cross-border policies, medical complexities, or legal considerations. Review claim decisions prepared by Officers and provide guidance to ensure accuracy and fairness. Coordinate with Medical Advisors, Reinsurers, Legal Counsel, and Investigators where required. Participate in fraud review, dispute resolution, and complaint handling. Assist in system enhancement testing, product launches, and process improvement initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for high-end life insurance products. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related fields. 3-5 years of relevant life claims experience, preferably with high-sum-assured or premium products. Strong technical knowledge of policy conditions, exclusions, and reinsurance practices. Good judgment, analytical skills, and ability to handle sensitive cases. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Prior experience mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
