Job description
- Play a key role in the clearing process for mid value trades and other products, work on inbound and outbound clearing to process daily clearing files.
- Process and provide confirmation of settlement transactions to/from counterparties for mid value transactions
- Perform operational processing in HSBC's internal trade settlement systems and other outsourcing service supporting systems, including third party clearing and agency clearing tools.
- Liaison with investors, broker/dealers, other banks own branches for processing settlements of mid-value trades and other products. Inform stakeholders on settlement status.
- Prepare summary reports of clearing and settlement transactions, highlighting any problems or issues with mid value products / transactions.
- Adhere to HSBC's guidelines and SLAs for clearing and settlement of trades and other products
- The role needs to perform daily update mainly for proxy voting announcement and reconcile/reflect client instructions to vote for, against, abstain for the Annual General Meetings as well as Extra General meetings for listed companies in S.Korea.
- Entry level of Documents classification requiring tax form review process
