Role purpose

The role requires partnership with the teams of Banking, Functions and Second Line of Defense (LOD). The role follows up on various work streams and initiatives to be performed and adequately executed by the Line of Business (LoB) and Functions (LoF) in Mexico

Main activities

  • Providing, advice, guidance, and effective challenge to the Risk and Control Owners in the execution of the programme.
  • Monitoring compliance with a comprehensive set of clear and concise instructions and minimum requirements applicable to the deliverables
  • Providing robust oversight throughout the project process including Scoping / Configuration, Mapping, controls identification, Design evaluation, challenging where appropriate.
  • Challenging Risk and Control Owners on risk and control management, control effectiveness and the management of issues, actions and events
  • Providing oversight for the progress and execution of the programme Exercise
  • Cultivate a culture of compliance by working proactively, as well as with 1LOD and 2LOD .
  • Supports the team leader to improve and maintain the day-to-day processes of the area
Calificaciones - Externas
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with high-level executives
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve change in challenging environments
  • Knowledge of Risk Management
  • Confidence to lead and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to provide training
