Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB)
HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. Within CIB, Securities Services provides robust and reliable solutions that help clients mitigate risk and enhance their business performance. Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of foreign invested enterprise which has regional HQ/ treasury center in China as a regional relationship manager
- Establish a single point of coverage contact for clients with multi-jurisdictional responsibilities.
- Manage the relationship from deal origination to execution, as well as credit, financial crime and transition risk management
- Partner with Global relationship banker and local relationship managers, and global & regional product partners to drive strategic dialogue, generate content and maximize the revenues of customer portfolio and increase the Bank’s share of customer wallets
- To coordinate the entire client service team to ensure the clients’ needs are covered in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Actively cross selling of all corporate banking products and products of other functions within the HSBC group.
- Achieve the Bank’s strategic goal of being acknowledged as the leading foreign bank in China and leading international business.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Self-motivated, sales drive, customer services and result-oriented mindset.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Bachelor degree or above (recognized by the state).
- Team player and ability to establish rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
- Decision making and analytics skills.
- Strong PC skills (excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- General corporate banking knowledge and relevant coverage experience.
- Good commercial knowledge and be well versed in economics, accounting and financial related subjects.
- Understanding of risk management and credit mitigation
- Knowledge of HSBC Group structures and products
- Overseas experience is a plus
