Learning Experience Designer

The Role
A critical component of Employee Compliance is our training team. Our team is responsible for designing enterprise compliance training courses that go to every member of the company, meaning we are building courses that scale to a massive audience. As a key member of this team, you will help design, develop and deploy learning and awareness programs across Fidelity Investments. The team further supports the compliance program in meeting regulatory training requirements for all Fidelity associates and registered broker-dealers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Support complex e-learning projects from conception to deployment, by assisting in the following areas:
Building accessible training content to meet employee learning needs for a large organization using modern graphic design, video, and authoring tools.
Communicating effectively as a writer, presenter, and facilitator to establish credibility and maintain effective working relationships with Learning and Compliance professionals across the organization.
Draft course design deliverables like prototypes, storyboards, and scripts; iterate upon multiple ideas with stakeholders and demonstrate to others how and why design decisions are made.
Work closely with subject-matter experts to set goals, timelines, and division of work.
Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, ask insightful questions, identify trends and opportunities to collaborate, and simplify complex findings/concepts for diverse audiences.
Multi-task and balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer term projects in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Experience in course design, video editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, etc.), data analysis and visualization (PowerBI, Qualtrics, SQL, Python, etc.), and some familiarity with coding (CSS, HTML, JavaScript) preferred.
BS/BA degree is required, graduate degree preferred.
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of risk, compliance, audit, legal and/or security functions in the finance industry is helpful.
The Team
Employee Compliance works closely with our business and legal partners, while providing support to various compliance teams to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and protection of Fidelitys brand and reputation. We are passionate about the associate experience and committed to providing sound and consistent guidance that effectively strengthens our overall compliance program.
