Your key responsibilities:

  • Originate, syndicate and execute bond transactions in Japan DCM Investment Grade and SSA segment
  • Due diligence of clients and markets; All facets of trade execution for bond deals
  • Supporting legal documentation
  • Participation in marketing efforts, leading preparation of client presentations and pitches
  • Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters as well as daily P/L monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank policies and guidelines and mitigate risk appropriately

Your skills and experience:

  • At least 6 years of Debt capital markets in foreign bank with DCM syndication/execution process
  • Strong understanding of DCM clearing system, Bloomberg ticketing system and financial ledgers
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multi task across clients, projects and geographies
  • Rounded accounting and regulatory technical knowledge to appreciate significance of key contractual terms
  • Strong communication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients
  • Performing in-depth company and industry research to execute pitches and deals
  • Robust knowledge of all investment banking products.
  • Good cultural fit – team player
  • Good fluency in English and Japanese
  • Good market references from market participants
  • Educated to university degree level with strong numerical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills with Fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
