Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

We enable Danske Bank to deliver high-quality payments solutions to our customers through an efficient and scalable payments platform. We take active part in shaping a modern payments infrastructure to the benefit of the bank and society. Our 180+ colleagues work across 8 locations, developing, managing, and owning the processing of all payments going in and out of the bank in all countries/markets/currencies. Thats a lot of payments!

We are looking for a team player with strong work ethics, analytical aptitude, sound technical  expertise and strong communication, who approaches challenges with positivity and initiative.

You will:

  • Perform payment specifications and requirements analysis, ensure solution design meet business needs and prepare backlog items for development.
  • Create and maintain clear business documentation that reflects new requirements and infrastructure changes 
  • Clearly and effectively communicate analytical insights to cross-functional team members and the Product Owner, ensuring collaborative decision-making and alignment. 
  • Contribute to testing process and defect investigation.
  • Take ownership of working solutions and ensure that business issues are addressed on timely manner
  • Support API integration and design by understanding system dependencies and ensuring compatibility across diverse payment services.
  • Participate in technical discussions to provide insights into payment-related developments and ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business requirements.
  • Analyse payment workflows, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the payments domain.
  • Analyse existing legacy systems to understand their functionality, dependencies, and limitations when reworking it into a new solution.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Proactive, self-driven technically minded analyst with a strong sense of ownership and a positive approach 
  • Experience with APIs and service integrations, including the ability to analyse technical documentation and diagnose and resolve integration issues.
  • Understanding of payment systems and processes would be a bonus.
  • Able to collect, organize, analyse, and present different information with attention to details and accuracy. SQL experience is considered as an advantage.
  • Strong commitment to meeting obligations and a proactive work approach.
  • Comfortable with switching between different tasks and contexts.
  • Team player, who is committed to teammates success no less than an individual one.
  • Willing to become an expert in Payments domain.
  • Fluent in English

Monthly salary range from 2600 EUR to 3900 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
