In this role, you play a key part in improving cross border payments and processes, while safeguarding the continuity of this critical payment chain. Expected responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and structure business, regulatory, and operational requirements related to cross border payments and translate these into clear, wellrefined Product Backlog Items for the Product Owner and Team.
  • Proactively assess the impact of changes, enhancements, and external developments (e.g. regulations, volumes, new payment standards) on the payment engine and ensure it is future proof, scalable, and aligned with the longterm vision of the payment landscape.
  • Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders, IT, operations, vendors, and dependent teams, aligning changes and requirements across multiple systems within the cross border payment chain.
  • Monitor the continuity of a critical payment application and analyse and help resolve incidents and production issues (e.g. log analysis, queries, impact assessments).
  • Ensure changes meet operational requirements (stability, maintainability, performance, robustness), and support controlled change implementation in a 24/7 high-availability environment.
