Commerzbank is hiring an experienced Product Owner to own the product vision and backlog for the Business Connectivity team, working within an Agile setup to prioritize sprints and define clear acceptance criteria. The role requires stakeholder management, ROI and budget responsibility, PI Planning/QBR/OKR involvement, and early detection and resolution of problems with innovative solutions. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure technical solutions are simple, reliable and cost-effective, supporting APIs, Kafka and MFT as part of the bank's digital infrastructure in Sofia.

Full Job Description

Your tasks

  • Developing and processing vision in accordance with the objectives of the bank strategy;
  • Creating and be responsible for the product backlog, determine the sprint backlog prior to every sprint through prioritization by business value and/or customer benefit;
  • Managing the relationship with customers/stakeholders;
  • Early recognition of impending problems, gaining an understanding of overall context and consequences above and beyond the urgent problem; developing new and innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Organizing and being responsible for a meaningful assessment of the user stories, defining clear acceptance criteria for user stories prior to sprint planning and obtain commitment of the team for the sprint backlog.
  • Being responsible for ROI of the product or process, budget planning, PI Planning, QBRs, OKRs.
  • Working in an Agile team setup.

Your profile

  • Previous experience as a Product Owner;
  • Experience in Scrum and Kanban;
  • Experience in IT project and/or IT operation;
  • Good understanding of banking processes, risk management processes, ensuring that technical solutions are simple, reliable, and cost effective.
  • Solid experience in definition, coordination and communication of tasks and requirements towards team and stakeholders;
  • Ability to analyze processes and requirements;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good analytic thinking with attention to details to solve problems;
  • University degree in IT or relevant.
