Job Overview

The Business Analysis Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned
  • Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects and in all phases of the development and implementation process, ensuring essential procedures are followed
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations and contribute to formulation of standards and strategies for own area and other functional areas
  • Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas
  • Work as a team to achieve objectives and negotiate with internal and external parties
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Ability to manage teams. 
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
  • Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

Responsabilidades del Puesto

  • Levantamiento y anlisis de requerimientos.
    • Documentar y traducir los requerimientos en especificaciones funcionales y no funcionales claras para el equipo tcnico.
    • Identificar casos de uso, flujos de usuario y criterios de aceptacin.
  • Vinculacin entre los usuarios y nuestros equipos de Tecnologa.
    • Conectar a las reas de Negocio y los equipos de desarrollo y pruebas (Developers y Testers).
    • Asegurar que la solucin tcnica responda a los objetivos estratgicos del Negocio
    • Traducir trminos tcnicos a un lenguaje comprensible tanto para usuarios como para los lderes no tcnicos.
    • Coordinar a los equipos propios y relacionados, y coadyuvar en la gestin tanto de proveedores de servicios.
  • Modelado y documentacin.
    • Crear diagramas de procesos, prototipos o mapas de flujo para representar visualmente los requerimientos.
    • Documentar los procesos actuales (AS-IS) y proponer los procesos futuros (TO-BE).
    • Investigacin de soluciones y normativas para el cumplimiento de legislaciones en general.
  • Gestin de cambios y validacin.
    • Evaluar y documentar solicitudes de cambio en los requerimientos durante el ciclo del proyecto.
    • Validar el producto entregado y su cumplimiento; as como coordinar las pruebas de aceptacin de usuarios (UAT).
    • Brindar seguimiento como Application Owner a los requerimientos internos sobre la aplicacin.
  • Soporte durante el ciclo de vida de la aplicacin.
    • Aclarar dudas tcnicas o funcionales a Negocio y a los equipos de Tecnologa.
    • Participar en el diseo de casos de prueba y acompaar las pruebas en DEV y QA.
    • Asegurar el cumplimiento normativo interno tanto de Tecnologa como de las reas evaluadoras del Banco.

Experiencia y habilidades requeridas:

  • Ms de 10 aos en Tecnologa o reas relacionadas (mandatorio).
  • Ms de 3 aos trabajando en la Industria Bancaria, idealmente, o bien, 8 aos en la Industria de Consumo Masivo o Retail.
  • Conocimiento: Ingeniero en Sistemas, Licenciatura en Informtica, Maestra en Tecnologa o carrera afn indispensable. Es indispensable que haya fungido como Analista de Sistemas, impartido soporte tcnico de primer nivel (aplicativo), gestionado proyectos de Tecnologa como lder de proyectos o equivalencias por al menos 8 aos y con conocimientos en los siguientes aspectos:
    • Amplia experiencia en la ejecucin de soluciones o implementacin tecnolgica para productos y servicios de Back Bancario, de preferencia en sistema de Compras o Real Estate.
    • Experiencia en la implementacin de proyectos de ERPs; de preferencia de SAP u Oracle. Educacin de Posgrado o Diplomado en Gestin de Proyectos, Certificacin de PMI o equivalente deseable. Gestin de presupuesto de proyectos y entendimiento del proceso general de Compras o Real Estate.
    • Conocimiento en el diseo e integracin de arquitecturas con sistemas legados.
  • Experiencia en el uso funcional de algn ERP o sistema Financiero del mercado con mdulos de Compras o Finanzas.
  • Idiomas: Nivel de ingls avanzado y vocabulario tcnico.
