Role: Talent Programmes Senior Advisor

The Talent Programmes Senior Advisor supports the delivery of bps talent agenda across global talent programmes, performance management activity and talent practices. Working across a portfolio of priorities, the role provides strong analytical, project and delivery capability to enable highquality outcomes across different activity areas.

The role partners with subjectmatter leads within the Talent Management & Assessment team, bringing structure, insight and pace to complex workstreams. Through disciplined programme management and effective use of data, the role helps translate strategy and frameworks into consistent delivery, measurable impact and continuous improvement.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working across shifting priorities, and takes ownership for turning insight and plans into practical, wellexecuted outcomes.

Role purpose:

To enable the effective delivery and continuous improvement of our talent agenda by bringing structure, insight and delivery discipline to talent programmes, performance management activity and talent practices.

By providing robust programme management and using data to advise decisions, the role helps translate talent strategies, frameworks and processes into consistent execution and measurable impact. The role supports subjectmatter leads to operate at scale, ensuring priority initiatives are delivered efficiently, advised by insight, and aligned to bps broader people and performance objectives.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead the endtoend delivery of talent programmes, including Thrive and Grow (TAG), with accountability for planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
  • Lead and run programme, performance management and talent practice workstreams, translating priorities into clear delivery plans, achievements, risks and dependencies, and driving delivery across annual cycles.
  • Act as a key collaborate with the Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) team and other critical partners, ensuring alignment, coordination and effective information flow.
  • Be responsible for the development of clear, highquality communications and guidance, including comms plans, systemrelated content and howto materials.
  • Lead and run vendor delivery for assigned programmes and workstreams, including oversight of performance, scope and contracts valued up to $3m.
  • Lead the production, analysis and interpretation of regular and adhoc reports, using talent, performance and programme data to assess effectiveness, identify trends and advise decisionmaking.
  • Present insight, recommendations and updates in a professional and compelling manner, including through workshops, briefing sessions, stakeholder forums and governance.
  • Partner with Systems & Solutions (S+S) and other teams to shape technology enablement, including leading the definition of dashboard, reporting and data requirements.

Required qualifications:

  • University degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)

Essential experience and job requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in talent management, leadership development, learning or human resources, or projects with significant operational delivery requirements.
  • Talent management expertise: Experience of designing, implementing, and scaling development programmes.
  • Delivery excellence: Proven track record to work well in cross-functional and global teams to deliver excellent talent solutions with a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable experience: Experience crafting and delivering diverse talent programmes.
