Job Description:

As a Senior Enterprise Technology Specialist focused on Price Book capabilities, you will support and evolve enterprise pricing platforms that underpin bps Mobility & Convenience retail operations. This role centers on the configuration, integration, and operational support of Price Book and pricing-rule services rather than hands-on application development. You will partner with product managers, enterprise architects, operations, and vendors to ensure pricing solutions are accurate, scalable, compliant, and operationally stable across stores and regions. Some overlap with US working hours may be required to support global operations. 

What you will deliver 

  • Support and improve enterprise Price Book platforms and pricing services across retail systems 

  • Handle and support integrations between Price Book, POS, promotions, fuel pricing, ERP, and downstream reporting platforms 

  • Configure and maintain pricing structures including base prices, hierarchies, effective dates, zones, and location-based pricing 

  • Support pricing rules, promotions, discounts, bundles, and conflict resolution within enterprise pricing engines 

  • Complete improvements and fixes aligned to product roadmaps while maintaining platform stability 

  • Communicate delivery status, operational risks, and pricing impacts to collaborators 

  • Support testing, validation, and release activities to ensure pricing accuracy and control 

  • Participate in audit, compliance, and control activities by maintaining pricing documentation and evidence 

  • Assist in implementing new controls or procedures to address identified pricing or compliance risks 

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications) 

Core experience and qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 

  • Experience supporting enterprise pricing or retail transaction platforms in large-scale environments 

  • Strong ability to adapt to evolving pricing models, tools, and operational processes 

  • Confirmed analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving cross-system pricing issues 

  • Clear communication skills across technical, product, and business stakeholders 

  • Self-driven approach to working through ambiguity and prioritizing business-critical outcomes 

Enterprise pricing & integration experience

  • Understanding of enterprise Price Book concepts including price hierarchies, effective dating, and zone-based pricing 

  • Experience supporting pricing rules engines including markups, discounts, promotions, and bundles 

  • Knowledge of retail pricing models such as cost-plus, margin-based, and competitive pricing 

  • Supporting integrations between pricing platforms, POS systems, fuel systems, ERP, and reporting solutions 

Technology, cloud, and operations

  • Experience working within Microsoft Azurehosted enterprise platforms in collaboration with infrastructure teams 

  • Understanding of security, identity, monitoring, and availability considerations for pricing platforms 

  • Experience supporting production pricing systems, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis 

  • Familiarity with audit, compliance, and financial control expectations related to pricing accuracy
