Job Description:
As a Senior Enterprise Technology Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in supporting and evolving enterprise technology platforms that underpin bps Mobility & Convenience retail operations. This role focuses on common services and integrations across PDI and related retail ecosystems rather than front-line application development. You will work closely with enterprise architects, product teams, vendors, and operations to ensure reliable, secure, and well-governed technology services across environments. Some overlap with US working hours may be required to support global operations.
What you will deliver
Design, document, and support enterprise integrations and common services across retail back office platforms
Support integration patterns between PDI and POS, payments, loyalty, ERP, finance, and data platforms
Implement changes and improvements in an iterative manner while supporting longer-term enterprise roadmaps
Own defined components or services end-to-end, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance
Communicate delivery status, risks, and operational impacts clearly to collaborators
Support testing, validation, and release activities across enterprise environments
Work with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to introduce or improve enterprise platforms
Participate in audit readiness activities (security, licensing, regulatory) by maintaining required documentation and evidence
Assist in implementing new controls and procedures to address identified risks or compliance gaps
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)
Core experience and qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Experience supporting enterprise technology platforms in large-scale retail or transactional environments
Strong ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and operating models
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sophisticated, cross-system issues
Clear and effective communication skills across technical and non-technical collaborators
Self-motivated approach to working through ambiguity and identifying practical solutions
Enterprise platforms & integration experience
Supporting integrations between PDI and POS systems, payment processors, loyalty platforms, ERP, and data warehouses
Experience with API-based, event-driven, batch, and file-based integration patterns
Understanding of error handling, operational resiliency, and store-level failure scenarios
Working knowledge of data reconciliation, validation, and transactional data flows
Technology, cloud, and operations
Experience working within Microsoft Azurehosted enterprise environments in partnership with infrastructure teams
Understanding of identity, security, networking, monitoring, and logging practices
Experience supporting production systems, incident investigations, and operational issue resolution
Familiarity with enterprise audit, compliance, and control expectations
