Were seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Markets Strategy to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in New York.
In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:
- Conduct bespoke analyses on critical initiatives and synthesize complex information into easily consumable frameworks
- Evaluate competitive positioning, capability gaps and strategic options (build/buy/partner)
- Build quantitative models and business cases (market sizing, revenue pools, unit economics), partnering with product, sales, trading, risk, finance and technology to validate assumptions
- Create executive-ready materials for strategic projects and senior leadership forums, including regular Executive Committee and Board of Directors deliverables
- Work collaboratively with Corporate and divisional teams to achieve organizational objectives and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide activities

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
- Excellent and efficient use of MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (required)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to deliver and remain agile in a fast-paced environment often under tight time constraints
- 3-5 years of experience; prior experience in management consulting, strategy, venture capital or investment banking preferred
- Working knowledge of capital markets, ideally with exposure to one or more of: FX, securities finance, repo, fixed income, collateral management, liquidity solutions, market structure
- Comfort translating product and market dynamics into strategic implications (growth opportunities, prioritization, impacts to the current state)

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $124,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
