The Securities Financing Fixed income flow team provides coverage to the banks institutional clients across the globe for all of their repo and flow financing needs.

The objective is to offer standard and tailored solutions and grow our market share. The team has a culture of being proactive, thorough, and thoughtful with clients and strives for a reputation of excellence in the marketplace. While there is a focus on revenue generation, comply with both internal and external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements is key.

About the job:

  • Provide proactive coverage to UK institutional clients across Fixed Income Securities Financing Transactions (SFT), including Repos, Total Return Swaps (TRS), and Securities Lending.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with UK institutional clients, with a focus on hedge funds, agent lenders, custodians, asset managers, insurance companies, and local banks ALM teams.

  • Understand clients needs and manage client orders by coordinating pricing and execution with trading desks.

  • Support onboarding processes by coordinating with Legal teams on GMRA, GMSLA, and ISDA negotiations, and assisting clients with required documentation.

  • Maintain close collaboration with Back Office, Middle Office, Legal, and Risk teams, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to business automation initiatives, including new IT tools and platforms, strategic and commercial projects, and regulatory change implementation.

  • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is desirable.

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or sales trading within fixed income SFT products, including Repos, Reverse Repos, Securities Lending, and TRS.

  • Experience with Bloomberg, Murex, Excel, and other relevant systems. Knowledge of VBA, Python, or C++ would be advantageous.

  • FCA certification (or ability to obtain it) and right to work in the UK are required.

  • Preference will be given to candidates currently based in the UK.

Languages

  • Fluent English is required.

  • Spanish is desirable but not essential.
