Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Coverage & Franchise Growth

  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurers, and official institutions

  • Drive revenue through trade idea generation, client engagement, and execution across fixed income products

  • Maintain active dialogue with clients, delivering timely market colour, relative value ideas, and actionable insights

Rates Products (Cash & Derivatives)

  • Market and execute rates products (cash and derivatives), supporting client needs across hedging, curve positioning, and portfolio optimization

  • Translate macroeconomic and market developments into relevant and timely trade recommendations

Repo, Secured Financing & Funding Solutions

  • Partner with Financing/Repo teams to deliver secured funding solutions, including repo, reverse repo, and securities financing transactions

  • Support client funding and balance sheet optimization needs through coordinated internal engagement

DCM Distribution & New Issue Flow

  • Collaborate with DCM and Syndicate to distribute primary issuance, providing investor feedback and supporting book-building efforts

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities between primary issuance and secondary trading flows

Execution & Risk Discipline

  • Execute trades efficiently and accurately in line with client mandates and internal policies

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, sales practices, and internal risk controls

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant experience in Fixed Income Sales, ideally with exposure to rates, credit, repo, or financing products

  • Strong understanding of global rates markets, macro drivers, and institutional investor behaviour

  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship management and revenue generation

  • Familiarity with multi-currency products across G3 and Asian markets

  • Fluent in Mandarin (written & spoken) for client communication.
