The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Consultant to join our Internal Communications team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Working closely alongside the Project Management team and various other functions and stakeholders across the business, this role is central to ensuring that our people and stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supported through periods of organisational change.

Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategies that support leadership and key stakeholders across a range of change initiatives. These include, but are not limited to:

  • IT and systems rollouts;
  • Operational updates; and
  • Broader transformation programmes that impact the way our people work.

The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end communications planning and delivery, ensuring that messaging is clear, timely and aligned with the firm's strategic objectives, acting as a trusted communications partner to project leads and senior stakeholders, helping to translate complex change programmes into accessible and engaging content for a variety of audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience in a communications role within a similar law firm or professional services environment, with a strong focus on change communications, internal communications or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working alongside project management teams and senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and drive projects through to completion.
