About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team in Singapore. The role provides HR advisory services, working with other HRBPs to deliver value-added client focus and service across Asia-Pacific. Reporting to Human Resources Manager, and working with Lead HRBPs to deliver value-added client focus and service across Asia-Pacific.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and contribute to large-scale planning agendas to identify opportunities for process improvements within Human Resource Business Partner functional area;
  • Identify and support implementation of human capital strategies, programs, and solutions across a business or enterprise function, ensuring alignment with key organizational goals;
  • Advise business leaders by asking the right questions, developing organizational and cultural knowledge, sharing observations, data, and themes relating to specific human resources products and services to develop and implement human resources solutions;
  • Lead the consultation, advice, and hands-on support for the execution of human capital strategies, resolutions, and leadership initiatives in support of strategic business decisions;
  • Act as a trusted partner to regional and country HR through proactive partnerships with legal, risk, control, and HR Centers of Excellence (COE);
  • Lead projects that require in-depth research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to enable process improvements that align with human resources strategies by leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements;
  • Assess internal and external environment to monitor and drive human resources initiatives and programs
  • Embrace the Human Resources Operating Model by proactively and effectively collaborating and developing partnerships with internal partners to positively influence outcomes


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Human Resources Advisory or Human Resource Business Partner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Degree holder in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Strong understanding of HR risk and control principles, governance, and employment-related compliance considerations

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Human Resources Advisory or Human Resources Business Partner experience, preferably gained from financial industry
  • Good team player, proactive, mature, excellent analytical skills and able to work with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail with the ability to balance governance rigor with practical business needs
  • Ability to multi-task; experience responding to changing deadlines/priorities
