About this Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an OffCycle M&A Analyst Intern to join our Investment Banking team in Paris. This sixmonth internship offers the opportunity to gain handson experience within a dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions environment and to contribute directly to live transaction work, strategic analysis, and client materials.

The Role

As an OffCycle M&A Analyst Intern, you will support the Paris M&A team across market analysis, valuation exercises, and execution deliverables. You will work closely with Analysts, Associates, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors across Paris, London, and the U.S. as part of an integrated deal team.

You will contribute to live mandates as well as strategic advisory assignments, preparing analytical materials, financial models, and client presentations. You will be treated as an integral team member, expected to demonstrate initiative, rigour, and a strong commitment to highquality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and synthesise financial and operating information on companies, industries, and markets.
  • Create, update, and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
  • Collect and analyse market data to support valuations and transaction recommendations.
  • Draft presentations and memoranda for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist in the preparation of client materials, including pitchbooks and transaction documents.
  • Support live transaction processes, including due diligence, dataroom review, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Participate in team discussions and, where appropriate, attend client meetings or calls.
  • Contribute to research on market trends, strategic themes, and relevant M&A activity.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent academic record from a business school / university in France / Europe
  • Masters student either on a gap year or admitted postbachelor specialising in Finance, Economics, or Banking
