About this Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an OffCycle M&A Analyst Intern to join our Investment Banking team in Paris. This sixmonth internship offers the opportunity to gain handson experience within a dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions environment and to contribute directly to live transaction work, strategic analysis, and client materials.

The Role

As an OffCycle M&A Analyst Intern, you will support the Paris M&A team across market analysis, valuation exercises, and execution deliverables. You will work closely with Analysts, Associates, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors across Paris, London, and the U.S. as part of an integrated deal team.

You will contribute to live mandates as well as strategic advisory assignments, preparing analytical materials, financial models, and client presentations. You will be treated as an integral team member, expected to demonstrate initiative, rigour, and a strong commitment to highquality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesise financial and operating information on companies, industries, and markets.
• Create, update, and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
• Collect and analyse market data to support valuations and transaction recommendations.
• Draft presentations and memoranda for internal and external audiences.
• Assist in the preparation of client materials, including pitchbooks and transaction documents.
• Support live transaction processes, including due diligence, dataroom review, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Participate in team discussions and, where appropriate, attend client meetings or calls.
• Contribute to research on market trends, strategic themes, and relevant M&A activity.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent academic record from a business school / university in France / Europe
• Masters student either on a gap year or admitted postbachelor specialising in Finance, Economics, or Banking

Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous devrez :

• Collecter et synthtiser des informations financires et oprationnelles sur des entreprises, des secteurs et des marchs
• Elaborer, mettre jour et maintenir des modles financiers (DCF, tude des transactions comparables et de comparables boursiers)
• Collecter et analyser des donnes de march afin dappuyer les travaux de valorisation et lexcution de transactions
• Rdiger des prsentations et des mmorandums dinformations destins des audiences internes et externes
• Participer la prparation de documents destins aux clients, notamment des pitchbooks et des documents lis aux transactions
• Contribuer aux processus dexcution des transactions en cours, incluant les missions de due diligence, lorganisation de datarooms et la coordination avec les diffrentes parties prenantes
• Participer aux changes au sein de lquipe et, le cas chant, assister des runions avec les clients
• Contribuer aux travaux de recherche sur les tendances de march, les thmatiques stratgiques et lactivit M&A pertinente

Qualifications requises :

• Excellent parcours acadmique au sein dune universit ou dune cole de commerce de premier rang en France ou en Europe
• tudiant(e) en Master, en anne de csure ou admis(e) en Master aprs un cycle Bachelor, avec une spcialisation en finance, conomie ou banque

Qualifications souhaites :

• Aisance dans le travail en quipe et dans les interactions avec lensemble des niveaux de lorganisation, dans un environnement ncessitant flexibilit, collaboration et adaptabilit
• Solides comptences analytiques, avec une attention leve porte aux dtails et la prcision
• Aptitude voluer dans un environnement exigeant et rythme soutenu, en grant efficacement plusieurs priorits simultanment
• Trs bonne matrise des outils Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook et PowerPoint)
• Intrt marqu pour les marchs financiers
• Matrise courante du franais et de langlais
• Excellentes qualits de communication crite et orale, avec une aptitude exprimer des ides de manire claire et structure
