Role Purpose

The UK COO Office Intern will provide operational and administrative support to the Head of UK COO Office, contributing to governance, regulatory coordination, and operational resilience initiatives. This role offers exposure to senior leadership interactions, UK regulatory frameworks, and governance processes within a global financial services environment.

Our 12-month Intern Program is designed for the high potential students, like you, into our most impactful roles preparing you for future success. From day one you will be exploring collaborative and dynamic environment company culture and you will receive:

You must be available to participate in the program in person in UK, starting from day one and for its full duration. You must be available to participate in the program in person, starting from day one and for its full duration and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing materials for UK COO Governance Meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.

  • Support production of reports for UK Risk Committees and Boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Help maintain documentation for SMF24 delegation and reasonable steps evidence.

  • Assist with data governance activities and regulatory reporting tasks.

  • Support resilience initiatives, including service reviews and remediation tracking.

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, industry forums, and client engagement sessions.

  • Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for governance and risk reporting.

  • Maintain dashboards, logs, and evidence repositories for governance and resilience activities.

Education & Preferred Qualifications                                          

Candidates should be:

  • A minimum 2.1 honor’s degree or equivalent (predicted)

  • Undergraduate students: Business, Finance, or related field

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in governance, risk, and operational resilience
