Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Stick to the updated Mortgage strategy to acquire biz with high productivity and mobility & Pivot to Affluent.
Business
Pro-actively promote designated Retail Clients products and services and acquire new customers. Ensure to achieve specific sales targets and service standards:
- Participate in sales promotions and activities to achieve/exceed defined sales targets.
- Engage NTB Affluent clients via leads sourced from varies channels.
- Follow well thought-through, creative approach to satisfy customers, improve competitive advantage and improve performance.
- Actively cross-sell other products / services of the Bank and ensure annual financial budget is met.
- To provide qualified and efficient before-and-after sales services.
- To prepare and consolidate accurate reports on sales activities.
- Based on a shared sense of purpose and approach within WRB;
- Based on a clear division of roles (and no duplication of effort) within Mortgage & WRB;
- Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties
Processes
Comply with all internal and external processes, standards and policies.
Acknowledge, follow and able to work mobile in Pan China to support Sales team where having resource pressure and working location will be subject to detail arrangement on due with no objection and performing corresponding duties.
People & Talent
Train and develop self in an on-going basis.
Risk Management
Timely identify risks in Mortgage acquisition and find solutions to mitigate, including but not limited to credit risk, fraud risk, operational risk, reputation risk etc.

Ensure to meet the internal control, compliance and audit standards
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Groups Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
Mortgage Product, Credit Policy, CI, MO, Ops, Legal, Compliance, BRM, OR, Finance, Branch etc.
Other Responsibilities
- Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
- Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
- Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank.
- Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections.
- Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review.
- Properly perform the duties on management and ensure the effectiveness of internal control.
- Be responsible for regulatory failure or risks arising from or in connection of the event over which the employee has the duties of management and/or leadership.

Skills and Experience
- Motivated and drove by number, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate leadership and attributes
- Good command of both spoken and written English / Mandarin

Qualifications
- College/diploma degree or above
- 5 year working experience or above in financial or mortgage / real estate Industry is preferred
- Relevant experience in banking experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of bank products, policies, and business strategy
- Good credit appraisal and marketing skills with the ability to interpret financial information
- Strong personal integrity with zero disciplinary record in any previous job
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Presentable, good personality with good business etiquette
