Job Description: 

Job Summary

Support the origination and execution related activities of the Development and Agency Finance team members in SCB AG.

 

Key Responsibilities

-  Support for generation of new business opportunities.
-    Provide support to identify and originate Development and Agency Finance transactions from European sponsors, borrowers and exporters (with specific focus on Germany, Switzerland and Austria) that target our footprint markets.
-    Plan and implement marketing activities in assigned markets (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and following through on lead generations.
-    Provide support to manage and develop relationships with identified European Export Credit Agencies (with focus on Euler-Hermes, SERV and OeKB), Multilaterals (if any) and DFI (such as DEG) to understand their policies and product program. Deliver ECA/ML/DFI structures to clients.
-    Work across product groups in Global Credit Markets and Transaction Banking to cross sell other banking solutions.
-    Develop relationships with key individuals at exporters, aggregators, ECAs, borrowers and project sponsors.
-    Ensure business opportunities and transactions are developed and executed in a timely and efficient manner.
-    Support DAF regional heads and PF regional heads in originating and tracking opportunities in target markets.
-    Support origination (from sponsors and exporter clients), development, marketing, negotiation and lead execution of Project & Export Finance transactions with special focus on DAF transactions (loan arranger and advisory mandates) in relation to European sponsors / exporters (with specific focus German speaking markets).
-    Support the wider DAF team (in particular, inbound market DAF team).
-    Use of Export Credit Agency, Multilateral and DFI products and risk mitigation techniques to reduce credit and funding risks in both existing and future assets.
-    Actively engage with the global/regional ECAs/MDB/DFIs to develop new structures and usage of new products introduced by these institutions.
-    Adherence to and promotion of Group and SCB AG governance, compliance and risk standards.
-    Liaise with SCB AG stakeholders regarding budgeting/planning and booking purposes.

Qualifications

   Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications; BA or Master / MBA equivalent 
   Licenses and Certifications/accreditations; N/A
   Professional Memberships, i.e. required for roles for continuous development/ improvement/awareness of current practices etc: N/A
   Bank training; complete all required mandatory and development training
   Languages: Fluency in English, and Business German is preferred.
