Primary responsibilities include delivering market views to support trading decisions, researching fundamental market drivers related to energy supply/demand/transmission, developing forward pricing views, monitoring market developments and regulatory issues, working closely with gas and emission analysts, improving team models, proposing trading strategies, and sharing best practices within and outside the team.
Required experience includes strong knowledge of energy economics, European energy markets, exceptional numerical and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, advanced IT skills (Python, Excel, SQL), and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or related fields. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of power market fundamentals and have significant experience in power market analysis and trading environments.
