Maybe you’ve just applied for an internship or graduate program, or you are thinking of doing so and have heard of these “HireVue” video interviews. I had many questions when I first heard of them, and you might too.

You should have multiple examples ready that you can draw on for each competency so you can assure the bank you have the appropriate abilities and can apply it to different environments (and after all, to show that you prepared).

This last part will focus on technical questions (which aren’t really that technical for Spring Weeks) as well as commercial awareness, brainteasers and the end of the interview.

If you haven't seen this classic yet, watch it and embrace its' message. You need to convert. If you don't, it's real simple: you got nothing coming.

At the more advanced stages of the application process it is even more important that you show up well prepared to your interviews. Not only because you want to outperform the other candidates but also because you can have sort of a peace of mind going into interviews, knowing you are actually prepared.

I've had in mind a write up on general interview etiquette for a while. This won't be a detailed overview of how to nail each stage of a rigorous process, think of it more as a best practice guide I've put together based on my own experiences of interviewing and being interviewed.

So, your application has been accepted, then you've passed the aptitude tests, then nailed your telephone interview and you are now on first name terms with your HR coordinator.
