Job Description:

Please note: this position is temporary for 12 months. and requiers flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, scheduled between 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. and 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm.

About the Role

As a Delivery Scheduler, you will be at the heart of Shell’s fuel supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to retail sites across Belgium and Luxembourg. This is not a routine job - every day brings new challenges and opportunities.  You will be collaborating with Delivery Assurance and Road Transport teams. It is a fast - paced environment and about making impactful decisions.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Plan and schedule truck deliveries to ensure timely and economical product delivery to Retail sites and B2B customers.

  • Create and optimize delivery plans that are accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with safety and operational standards.

  • Maintain and update the truck diary in the scheduling system.

  • Reflect supply and product availability issues in system set-up.

  • Allocate orders to trucks and liaise with cross-functional teams throughout the Order-to-Delivery process.

  • Handle customer enquiries, assess feasibility for changes, and coordinate with the scheduling team.

  • Manage urgent order requests within the delivery promise framework.

 

Requirements:

  • English proficiency: minimum B2 level.

  • Logistics and road delivery operations experience is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Quick learner of new IT tools; familiarity with scheduling systems is a plus.
