Job Description:

What youll be doing

Key Areas of responsibility:

• Execute endtoend operations for bulk crude cargoes from supply to delivery.

• Manage voyagechartered vessels, vessels under Shell control, and terminal/blending activities (where applicable).

• Protect deal P&L by preventing demurrage, minimizing downtime, and identifying optimization opportunities.

• Ensure full compliance with contracts, charter parties, regulations, and Shell HSSE standards.

• Coordinate daily with traders, shipping, manufacturing, optimizers, contracts, claims, legal, demurrage, and trade finance teams.

• Manage external interfaces with counterparties, vessel owners/brokers, terminals, surveyors, port agents, and service providers.

• Plan, schedule, and nominate vessels, cargoes, and delivery windows accurately and on time.

• Oversee vessel operations including routing, bunkering, stow planning, and voyage execution.

• Manage cargo operations including readiness, offspec handling, blending (where applicable), and inventory optimization.

• Support postdeal activities such as settlements, customs, demurrage, and claims.

• Maintain accurate system entries, documentation, and operational records.

• Provide operational support outside regular office hours as required.

What you bring

Experience in managing physical trading and supply operations is a strong advantage. The ability to work effectively in complex or nonstandard environments, provide handson counterparty support, and progressively introduce standardization and efficiency is essential, alongside a strong commitment to HSSE, compliance, and product quality.

Skills and Requirements:

• Good understanding of Trading & Supply operations, with relevant experience in a trading, supply, or similar operational environment.

• Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to protect margins, assess tradeoffs, and identify endtoend optimization opportunities.

• Demonstrated capability to manage endtoend supply chains, from requirement collation to execution and monitoring.

• Ability to clearly understand and articulate business objectives, constraints, and operational realities.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with evidence of effective collaboration, influence, and relationship building.

• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities independently in dynamic environments.

• Strong problemsolving skills, including working effectively with uncertainty or incomplete information.

• Ability to perform well in fastpaced, continuously changing operational settings.

• Demonstrated resilience, determination, and drive to deliver results.

• Passion for operational excellence, including experience leading or supporting optimization initiatives.

• Proactive selfstarter with strong personal leadership and the ability to influence others through expertise and credibility.
