Who were looking for 

Schroders Wealth Management (SCAL) is a client-first, investment-led wealth manager offering an alternative to the traditional private banking model. Our approach combines high-conviction investment expertise with open architecture advice, giving clients access to a broad range of solutions across a multi-custodial platform. Backed by institutional investment capabilities, we work closely with clients across Singapore and the region as long-term, trusted partners in managing and growing their wealth.

We are looking for someone to work closely with our Senior Relationship Managers, with the curiosity and ambition to develop into a trusted adviser over time. You will enjoy being close to clients, understand the nuances of UHNW/HNW relationships in Asia, and take pride in delivering strong investment outcomes and a seamless client experience.

You are hands-on, collaborative, and commercially mindedcomfortable supporting day-to-day client needs while also contributing to new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Relationship Managers to manage client portfolios in line with agreed strategies, mandates, and MAS regulatory expectations, while building long-term client trust
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients financial situations, family structures (including regional dynamics), investment objectives, and risk appetite
  • Execute trades and implement investment recommendations accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings; produce clear, high-quality follow-ups and ensure timely execution of agreed actions
  • Stay close to market developments through internal investment discussions and external manager interactions
  • Communicate investment views and portfolio updates to clients in a clear, relevant, and timely way
  • Deliver portfolio reviews and reporting to clients professionally and consistently
  • Support business development efforts, including identifying opportunities within existing networks and contributing to new client acquisition
  • Assist in preparing investment proposals and client materials tailored to the Singapore and broader Asia client base
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, compliance, product specialists) to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing servicing
  • Manage client administration proactively, including account opening, transfers, and monitoring of balances and exposures
  • Keep abreast of market trends, products, and regulatory developments through ongoing professional development
  • Represent Schroders  brand and values confidently in the local market

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Minimum 3 years experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally within Singapore or regional coverage
  • Recognised university degree; CACS (or equivalent MAS-recognised licensing) preferred
  • Familiarity with wealth structuring solutions commonly used by Asian clients, including trust and estate planning structures
  • Experience across public and private markets (including alternatives exposure relevant to UHNW clients)
  • Strong working knowledge of MAS regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and support business development initiatives
  • CFA certification a plus
