SCIB is looking for a Senior Sales Manager (Vice President) in Cash Management & Bilateral Lending (DACH & Nordics) based out of Frankfurt am Main.

As a Senior Sales Manager in Cash Management & Bilateral Lending (DACH & Nordics), you will lead the origination and development of our Cash Management and Bilateral Lending business across the Nordics region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden). Based in Frankfurt, the role focuses on deepening relationships with existing corporate clients while driving new business and new client origination.

  • Develop, design and execute strategic sales plans aligned with global-, industry segment-, and local objectives, identifying market trends, client demand, and innovation opportunities.
  • Manage and grow the portfolio of corporate clients and strategic prospects across Nordic countries, originating new cash management and bilateral lending mandates and expanding wallet share and size of wallet growth
  • Establish and nurture deep relationships with senior treasury and finance decision-makers to evolve towards and act as trusted client advisor.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into bespoke solutions, i.e. customized to client requirements, based on sound understanding of the specific regional requirements and the superior capabilities of Santander.
  • Manage the pipeline and opportunities including stakeholder alignment and documentation across the international stakeholders globally.
  • Tender Cash Management solutions holistically across all product areas, e.g. payments, liquidity, foreign exchange, account services, and cross-selling
  • Consult with clients along the value-creation process starting with Channels & electronic Banking including Treasury Management Systems, Clearing & Settlement, and Foreign Exchange conversion for international payments
  • Lead the end-to-end sales processes including pitching proposals, client presentations, contractual documentation, commercial negotiations, deal closing, pricing, structuring, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver consistent revenue growth and measurable business results across the global footprint for the clients with headquarters in the Nordic countries.
  • Coordinate closely with all internal stakeholders, e.g. product specialists, client service, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and onboarding teams, delivering an enhanced and seamless client experience through strong cross-team integration.
  • Act as a problem solver for complex client or operational issues across all geographies internationally with high responsiveness.

Professional Experience

  • Extensive international experience as senior cash management & lending sales across Transaction Banking, Bilateral Lending, and Corporate Banking working with multinational corporates (Required).
  • Proven track record in new business and client origination, business development in the Nordics region, complex sales negotiations and deal closing, producing sustainable commercial results (Required).
  • Substantial understanding of Treasury & Payment operations with the ability to deliver an enhanced client experience within the legal, compliance, and operational risk mitigation framework (Required).

Education

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with major in banking, finance, or economics (Required)
  • International academic or business experience (Preferred)
